Popcorn for the squirrels.

Yesterday Grandpa and I made popcorn for the squirrels.

I always get a front row seat while we wait for the popcorn to pop. Daddy wanted to see too.

Fresh popcorn tastes good.

Really good.

Don't worry. I left enough for the squirrels.

Do Bunny Slippers attack at your house?

Because they do at mine!

I was attacked before dinner last night.

Right before I wouldn't try the chili that I helped Mommy make. If anyone has suggestions for a picky eater, my Mommy would LOVE to hear them!!

Second Wind

Last night I was up past bed time partying. It was my Grammum's birthday!

Because of my lack of sleep, I was just a touch bit grumpy today. Mommy was so sure I was going to be in bed early tonight...but after dinner and bath time...I had energy to burn!

There's a new sheriff in town!

"There's a snake in my boots!"
(That's what Daddy kept saying once I was ready for bed.)

Now we need to find me a cowboy hat!

Thank you Aunt Julie for my awesome new pjs!!

Here is a clue to the other pair she got me...
To infinity...AND beyond!

Rockin'

On my dinosaur...

and to Daddy's alarm clock.

Look what Daddy brought home!

But first here I am talking to Mommy while she was making dinner. (Which I wouldn't even try once it was done.)

She thinks I'm so cute and look so grown up when I sit by the table. I had the door open and was watching for Daddy.

THIS is what Daddy took home!!

A little school bus with TONS of buttons!

His tennis team played the team by our house. Daddy's players' parents took them all home, so Daddy got permission to take the bus home for the night.

Whoa!

Do you think I can talk Daddy into selling the Accord and getting one of these?

Adventure with Grammie

Last night Grandpa & Grammie came to play while Mommy & Daddy went out with friends. Grammie brought along the photos that she took from our adventure on Monday. We went to an indoor pool!

I had a great time!

I liked that I could walk in as deep (or as shallow) as I wanted. I don't like going into deep water. It was nice to 'work my way in'.

I am looking forward to going back!

My 1st Tractor Show

I went to my very first tractor show with Grandpa, Great Uncle Dave & Daddy.

I helped Grandpa drive us around on a golf cart.

It was awesome!

Mommy sent along grapes & I shared them with Great Uncle Dave. He didn't want the ones I pre-chewed.

I pointed at everything. Grandpa wondered if my little finger would wear out!

Don't worry, it didn't!

This was my favorite tractor.

Daddy took a video of me driving. I'm a good driver.

I was so pooped, I flopped over & fell asleep on Daddy!

I was such a good boy that Grandpa said I could go along next year! I can't wait!!

5th Sunday

Aah, freedom to basically do whatever I want.

Including moving all of Auntie Audrey's stuffed animals into the living room.

I love that the rules are different at my grandparents' houses!

Now that it has been announced on Facebook...

I would like to introduce you to my UNCLE Jon!

Well, this spring he will be my uncle. He proposed to Aunt Julie Saturday night. Apparently it was really sweet because when they stopped on Sunday to tell us, Mommy kept saying, 'Awe!' and hugging Aunt Julie.

Mommy tried to find a picture of the 2 of us, but we are always so busy playing that neither of us is looking at the camera. I like it that way.

We are so happy for you Aunt Julie and UNCLE Jon!

*Aunt Julie wanted to tell people in person, that's why I didn't spill the beans until it hit facebook. :)

Wow.

Here horsie, horsie, horsie...

This morning my second cousin...well...my Mommy's cousin's son was baptized. Does that make him my second cousin? Mommy has never fully understood how that all works, so she is having trouble explaining it to me. Anyway, my friend Tanner was baptized this morning.

I got to play in a different nursery and had lots of fun. They told Mommy that I was all over the place.

After church we went and had lunch at Tanner's Grandpa & Grandma's. Their house is awesome! They have so many animals and so much that I could get into (if everyone would just look away for a moment)!

I got to pet my very first horse! When they didn't come to me, Great-Uncle Greg took me to them!

THEN, he showed us his tractor. I got to ride with Grandpa.

It was really loud and I didn't quite know what to think...but I did like the big wheel.

Once I warmed up to it, I kept saying, 'WOW'.

I didn't get to play with Tanner because 1st he was eating and then everyone wanted to hold him. But, I kept a close eye on Grandpa and I'm sure that next time, I can get the tractor up and running and then Tanner & I can go for a ride!

Trucks, chipmunks and the last few days.

We have had a busy couple of days. While I missed out on a few naps, we sure had a lot of fun!

On Wednesday Mommy and I went out for lunch with Grammum, Auntie Audrey, Great Grandma, Great-Aunt Ruth AND Roberta & Tanner.

We got to the restaurant a bit early and were watching the big trucks go by. They look just like the trucks in my book! Grammum showed me how to wave my arm so they honk.

Great Grandma enjoyed it almost as much as I did. We were lunching in the area where Great Grandma grew up and took an adventurous drive to where the home her Daddy grew up in used to be. (I thought we should have gone farther down the road...but Grammum didn't want to have to call Grandpa to pull us out of any ditches.)

Tanner had a picture of a big truck on his shirt! It looked just like the trucks that were honking at us! Mommy tried to get a picture of the 2 of us...but it didn't really work. We were too busy playing. And by playing, I mean I was poking at him.

Tanner kept eyeing my teddy grams. I licked them to make sure they were good before trying to pass them to him. Mommy said he is not quite big enough for crackers yet, but that she was proud I was sharing.

After a fun filled Thursday of playing at Gramum's while Mommy was at work, Friday Mommy & I went out for lunch again! We met Auntie Em by her work. After lunch (where I snagged noodles off Auntie Em's and Mommy's plates, it was yummy by the way, Auntie Em let me answer her phone!) we went to visit Auntie Em's work. I got to meet some of the people she works with, they are really nice, and they have really great toys! I had lots of fun and slept in the car the whole way home.

Auntie Audrey had her wisdom teeth out on Thursday. Mommy said that she might have chipmunk cheeks. I wanted to see them, so last night we went to check them out.

A little swollen, but not bad. I thought she was going to look like Alvin.

We sat in the backyard and I thought the flowers looked a bit thirsty. Maddie & I decided to give them some water.

I didn't want any help.

I do need to work a bit on my technique.

I tried to fill up the little watering can with the big one, but instead, I ended up soaking my shorts. Then it was time to go home.

This morning we were planing to have a painting party in the basement, but the mud from the drywall isn't quite done yet. Instead all the painters went out on the boat. I got to go along too even though I wasn't going to help with the painting.

I took Mommy's sunglasses.

I think they look pretty good on me.

Snuggling by Auntie Audrey.

And being a goof by Auntie Em.

A big goof.

Hopefully next week we will have a painting party...but if not...I vote for another boat ride!
