making changes...

The last few nights we have been working on getting the kids to share a room.

I say 'working on' because about 9:30 last night we finally 

separated them because they were still giggling. 

(Dani enjoying story time in her new room, in her new bed!  The one Eddie ate.)

Tonight went much better.  They were quiet after about a half hour.  

(I think because they were still so sleepy from staying up late last night!)  

Now we'll just have to see what time they wake up in the morning!

I have a few more things I'd like to get done in their room...like paint - 

but we are getting closer!

Nesting has been in full force over here.  I think the only room that will be untouched by the time we are finished is the kitchen.  And that is because I've promised Mark I wouldn't paint that room again. :)

**UPDATE**
Dani woke about 6am Saturday morning.  Mark quickly got her into her old room before she woke Eddie up.  But today (Sunday), both kids slept until 7:30am.  Then Eddie asked Mark if Dani could 'sleep in his room for all times'.  Too cute.

I had been successful at keeping Dani away from the toilet paper, 

but Eddie let her sneak right in. 

She has discovered an entertaining new game:

On a side note...I am confident that one day Eddie will be potty trained.  

It won't be today and tomorrow isn't looking good either.

But one day, he will get there.

He has been successful & totally understands the concept...

but all my pushing and trying to bribe has only ended in tears.  

I've decided this just isn't worth fighting over.  

I am praying that one day, is before February.

His buns are going to look awfully big once baby no. three arrives.

Eddie made a little nest out of blankets and stuffed animals 

and told me he & Maddie were in the washing machine.

I have no idea why.  But he was having fun.

new wheels!

Eddie is the proud new owner of a balance bike.

 He helped Daddy put it together (which was not happening fast enough!  It was quite cute, Mark was working on the handle bars and Eddie kept trying to get the wheel on.)

 After one tip over, he's been doing really well!  The first step is walking with the bike - and he's got that down pat!  Soon he will be sailing around!  Of course the night it arrived, it was pouring, so the first spins happened in the basement.

Dani is now the owner of a shiny new bike helmet...but she isn't a fan.
