naps helped...a lot

The tulips made it through the cold night last Sunday!  

We were able to give pictures in their 'Dutch Village costumes' another go.

Naps...and taking graham crackers along did wonders.

It went soooo much better for us on Monday afternoon.

Best of all - this was enjoyable
vs. the crying 'can we go feed the ducks now' try of last week.

There were even some tourists in town yet that wanted pictures with the kids.

Eddie thought they were nuts - Dani just smiled.

Here are our Dutch Village costume cuties...

the kids practiced 'dutching' which is what Dani kept calling Dutch Dancing.

(yeah...I know I should probably correct the kids more.  But what they say is too cute!!)

Eddie is once AGAIN wearing the same Dutch Costume!

My mom let the hem out on his pants...his waist stayed the same.

The girls are wearing costumes my mom made for me and my sister a little over 30 years ago. It seriously amazes me how she tweaked each costume to fit them and be comfortable.  

For someone who hates being dirty...she hasn't met a dirt pile she hasn't liked.

she was 'dutching' too.
