getaway

Last weekend we met Mark's family up at a cottage.

We had planned to head up on Friday, but both kids were running fevers and Eddie asked to take a nap in the morning (which NEVER happens).

We kept them home to see if they were getting sick, but by Friday night they both seemed themselves again, so we headed North Saturday morning.

We had a great time.

The lake and weather were perfect.

Eddie had so much fun playing with Grandpa, Grammie, Auntie Julie and Uncle Jonna - I mean Uncle Jon.

Eddie can get a bit mixed up with all the J names. :)

Dani enjoyed herself as well.

Although she spent most of the day sleeping. :)

Mark had to be at church in the morning, so we had to head back yet that night.

Eddie stayed at the cottage.

As we were getting ready to leave I wasn't sure how Eddie would do.

Of course I had nothing to worry about.

Eddie did pause for hugs, kisses and to wave good-bye, but was much more interested in running up and down the stairs with Uncle Jon.

We are all looking forward to going back next year!
