It left an impression.

First - 3 posts in 2 days?!? 

(can you tell I am clearing off memory cards?)

Have to say...I am kind-of proud of myself.

I will catch up on the family blog book eventually!!

anyway.

This was too cute.

And a tad blurry because I was using my phone and trying SO hard not to laugh.  
And El was crawling all over me. :)  
 I wrote this down right after it happened because I didn't want to forget it.

A little background: 

early this month I was home with El one Sunday morning because she was too boogery to put in nursery.  Mark was on Praise Team, so the kids sat in the front row.  

 
Apparently it left a big impression.

Also, our church has steps in the front.

E :  Hi!  I'm Pastor Matt.

D :  I'm Pastor Matt.

E :  No Dani, you can't be Pastor Matt.  I am.  You be a mom who sings.

D : Okay.  (Dani gets her babies and starts to sing)

E :  God greets us, now greet each other.

(Eddie comes down to shake my hand)

E :  I'm Pastor Matt.  Do you want some candy?  Here, I'll take the wrapper.

(Eddie goes back to the stairs)

E :  Mom come forward - be Ethan. 
(I move to the stairs to be Ethan, one of Eddie's friends at church) 
Hi Ethan!  Put out your hands. 

 E :  Also with you.  Oh - The Lord be with you. 
Now it's time for class.  Follow Dani down the steps to class.

I guess you do learn more in church when you sit in the front instead of the back!!

I know he is always watching and listening - but it just amazes me when it comes back out!

But I don't remember our Pastor ever wearing a fruit basket on his head.

And a total side note - we realized Eddie had some pj shorts that still fit.  Growing boys are hard to keep up with!  Now he is able to better portray Green Hulk and I don't feel as much of a need to crank the heat. :)
