I liked the idea of vinyl lettering, but if I decided to move the room around, I couldn't rehang the vinyl.
I came across a link for a starch mixture to put fabric on your walls. If you want to move it, just peel it off, wipe down the walls and re-stick it! It won't damage your paint. :)
Perfect!
The blog writer talked about how much it made, so I made a half batch:
Stir 1/8 cup corn starch into 1/4 cup cold water. Then pour in 2 cups of boiling water and mix it up.
She was right, even 1/2 batch was a lot of goop!
As I painted my fabric trees, I kept thinking that this was never going to work. But I let it dry for a few hours...

and I love it!
Next time I put it up, I will spend more time to make sure the bubbles are gone. I didn't think it was going to work, so I wasn't too careful. (It is especially noticeable on the tree with the owl. But that might be because I didn't sew the pink onto the white perfectly.)

So cute...I love it! I need to put something up next to Carter's crib (and eventual bed), now I'm inspired!
That is awesome! I love it! I may need to remember that idea in the future, very nice work!
Such a cute idea! Those trees are adorable...would look cute on a t-shirt too! :)
