Coincidentally, Mark gave his first haircut tonight.
I was wearing Eddie while Mark was cooking dinner on the grill. I have been talking about cutting off Eddie's mullet lately and we figured he was already grumpy and tied down, why not now? (After an afternoon of playing in the sun and working on his 1 year molars, Eddie was tired. Oh, and he didn't think he needed an afternoon nap today which added to his happiness.)
Mark took his beard clippers to the back of Eddie's head while I held him and his hands. It worked out well. The only issue we had was Eddie trying to see what was going on.
Mark only cut the back and sides (because there isn't too much on the top yet) and I am amazed at how grown-up he looks!

Aw I always had a hard time with the first haircut.
I came over from NOT my CHILD! Monday... but I noticed the 1st haircut.... ok, wearing him for his 1st haircut is ingenious!!! I have NEVER seen that before, but it is such a great idea... it's where he is used to being and feels safe....
Kudos to your thinking that made the 1st haircut easier!!!
