My First Easter

Today was my very first Easter. Mommy told me about how God sent his only son Jesus to die on the cross so that I might live. She said that sacrifice has taken on a whole new meaning since I've came along. Mommy & I sing lots of songs about God. My favorite is 'Who's the King of the jungle?' I like the monkey sounds.


This isn't my Easter outfit. We had a sunrise service this morning and we were in a bit of a rush to get out of the door & Mommy didn't take any pictures. We had breakfast at church after the service and I spilled on my vest. Oops. These pictures are an attempt to get 9 month pictures of me. Mommy said it was easier to get photos of me when she only had to try to get me to smile. It's next to impossible to get a 'nice' shot of me looking at her while she is trying to contain me at the same time.


Last night we had Easter dinner with Daddy's side of the family. I had a great time playing with Annika & Jackson. Jackson fell asleep by Mommy & she really enjoyed the cuddling. I don't do much of that anymore. I tried to climb the stairs with Grandpa. I can't wait to slide down the stairs like Annika was doing with Aunt Julie!

Aunt Janna & Uncle Troy were in town and I had lots of fun playing with them too! I made sure to get my picture with them at lunch today before they had to fly back home. Did you know their camera barks after it takes a picture?!? That is awesome.


I got my picture with Aunt Julie and Jon too. The camera flash was doing strange things to Aunt Julie's eyes. Mommy took this one after she said it was looking like Aunt Julie had more to drink than water with lunch. Jon thought that was funny. I think he's funny. :)


After lunch we came home & all took a great nap. Apparently a sunrise service wears everyone out. We got a call from Grandmummy that they were back home! They couldn't wait to see me and I think Aunt Audrey wanted her puppy back. They brought me home a brand new set of ears!
