25...well, 27 random things.

I have gotten a few different kinds of these Random Things questionnaires from friends on Facebook. I decided to combine them. Here are 25 random things about me, my hubby and my first born....I also decided to post them here because not everyone has facebook...and I can't figure out how to send it to 25 people like the rules state. :P

So. Here is more about me than you probably want to know...

1. My feet are 2 different sizes. Not by a lot, but when I buy shoes I have to buy for the left one. Depending on the shoe my right foot can have too much room and the shoe can fall off. I think this is why I trip so often. :P

2. When my sister Emily and I worked together we were often asked if we were twins. We are not, she is 2 years older.

3. I actually was a twin. The other baby just stopped growing. My mom told me that it was not my fault. I've always thought it was a boy & I named him Jason. (I did this many years ago, I don't know why I thought it was a boy or why I called him Jason.)

4. I am the middle child, I am 12 years older than my sister Audrey.

5. I met Mark when I was 16. We dated for 4 years and were married 5 days after I turned 21.

6. On our first date we went to see Scream 2 - I spent most of the movie gripping Mark's arm and pulling the sleeve of his sweater over my eyes. I stretched it all out. Technically I wasn't allowed to go to that movie. After seeing Scream I was so freaked out I slept with my parents...I was in high school. My Dad said I wasn't allowed to watch those kind of movies anymore.

7. This summer Mark & I will be married for 7 years...that sounds like a lot. I pray and am looking forward to many more years.

8. Audrey was 4 when we started dating. She doesn't remember Mark not being around.

9. Mark was gone last night to a conference and I slept diagonally across our bed. I think it was to make it seem less lonely.

10. I painted the bathroom while he was gone...he has no idea. :)

11. I love doing craft projects & projects around the house. I usually have several going at the same time.

12. I love to take pictures. I have taken pictures of Eddie almost every day since he was born.

13. I love blogging. I am hooked on it. I love that it's an easy way to keep memories & it gives me something to do with all my photos.

14. Overall I had an easy pregnancy. I was sleepy and felt like I was going to throw up, but never did. When I don't feel well I like to be held. If Mark wasn't home, I'd go to my parents and my mom held me.

15. I was in labor for 36 hours before Eddie was born by c-section.

16. I do remember how much it hurt.

17. I couldn't have done it without Mark. He stayed with me the whole time and kept reminding me to breathe.

18. I would go through it all again in a heart beat.

19. I was in a bit of shock when the dr. held up a baby and said it was mine. :)

20. I have always dreamed of being a mommy & it is better than I ever imagined it to be. Eddie's smile brightens my day.

21. I love to watch Mark & Eddie play together.

22. Eddie & I sing about everything that is going on.

23. Since becoming a mommy I've really begun to understand the importance of girl friends. I treasure them now more than I did before.

24. I am so thankful for my parents & my sisters...I talk to them almost everyday.

25. I am a worrier. I pray a lot and give my fears over to God...but usually take them back. I like to be organized and in control & I don't like giving that up...which makes me worry. I go around in circles & am thankful God keeps listening & helping me.

26. I should be doing laundry. It's my most dreaded household chore. I think it's the folding & putting away that gets me. Instead I am writing this. Eddie is taking a nap & I'm waiting for Mark to come home...I sure hope he likes blue! :)

27. O.K I know I'm over 25 - but I figured it is better than 75!
