I know I say this all the time, but you just amaze me Buddy. Your thirst for knowledge is something that I've never seen before. Grammie says that if you could spin your head all the way around like an owl, you would. You are always looking around, examining your world. I love watching you learn.

We put up the Christmas tree this weekend. You love to look at the lights and the ornaments. What I didn't think about when we put up the tree was it's location to the windows. All the windows ended up blocked. You could not get a good look outside. Daddy moved the tree for you. Now you have a great view of the tree inside...and the one outside.

This morning you snuggled your head on my shoulder. At first I thought that you didn't feel well, but I realized you were looking at the Christmas tree. Usually you are a bundle of energy. Always on the move. My first clue that you have woken up is I hear you thumping your legs on your bed. You are like your Daddy and can't sit still. We've put your swing away. Not because you are too big for it, but because you've started to throw your weight around and I'm worried you will tip it over. You are so strong.

You are making more sounds. You have a squeak you make when you are really happy. I love your little noises. You click your tongue. It's not an all out tongue click...but you are learning how to use it. You laugh so easily...unless you're sleepy. Daddy can get you giggling like no one else. I usually blow raspberries by your knees to get the giggles going. I just have to be careful because that is the perfect opportunity for you to dig your hands in my hair.

You have begun to grab things with 2 hands. I love to hold things out for you and watch you reach for them. 2 hands also gives you a better grip on things, which of course you put right into your mouth. Everything goes in your mouth. I know I've said that before, but I've never seen you try to eat your puppy before a few days ago! She's a good sport and gives you kisses.

You are trying SO hard to sit up! Daddy says you must have the best abs. Yesterday you grabbed two of the bars on your play yard and had yourself half way up! I stared at you with my mouth hanging open. You amaze me.
Thank you for making each day a new adventure. I am so proud of you. Always know that your Mommy and Daddy love you.
