Changes & weekend adventures

Last week Emily was on a business trip in California. While talking on the phone one night, she was telling me about who she was going to be meeting & what her schedule would be like. When she asked me about my day, all I could come up with was boobs & poop. That seems to be my life right now. While I am loving it - it was just the sudden realization of how things have changed. Emily then let me have a long discussion about poop...thank the Lord that my sister lets me talk about anything with her! :)

Friday was a big day. Carters was having a big sale on clothing. Mark & I took Eddie over to my mom's & went shopping. We tag teamed it. Mark stood in line, while I picked out big boy clothing. (In the morning the line was 2 hours long - but I think it was only 30 min when we were at the store.) I did have to pass some things by Mark to be sure that they are 'manly' enough. I picked out 6 month & 9 month sizes. It is hard to believe that Eddie will be in those sizes before we know it!

In the evening Mark's parents came over and stayed with Eddie while Mark & I went to see The Dark Knight. Mark has been looking forward to seeing it since he heard that they were making it. He loved it - I didn't realize how dark it was & did spend a portion of the movie with my face buried in Mark's shoulder. I did enjoy the parts I saw. It was fun to be out & Eddie had fun with his grandparents.

After Friday, we hung low on Saturday...and Sunday. Eddie was a bit fussy - he gets so tired & he doesn't want to sleep because he is so busy looking around.

Oh I remember those days of boobs and poop! Feel free to call if you're ever having another of those days and just want to talk to someone who's been there & done that. I wish we had gotten to see more of you guys while we were up there! I'm sure he'll have grown tremendously by the next time we make it to MI!

Don't worry Jen, boobs and poop makes up about 90% of the topics that guys talk about on a regular basis. You're in good company. Glad you guys are doing well--happy birthday!
