We got a call this morning that our friends had their baby! A beautiful baby boy! We went to visit this afternoon. What a honey!! He is so cute! As I used my belly as a ledge to set him on - it was hard to believe that there is one of these in me & that soon I will have a playmate for him! Congratulations N&L!!!
Wow. The rain started & just keeps coming down! We had stopped at my parents tonight & watched the storm come in. When the storm didn't really let up - we began to wonder when to go home. At 10pm Mark said he didn't think that it was going to get better - so we made the dash to the car.
We could not believe the water on the roads! We were in the Honda & could feel the water vibrating under the floor boards. Once home we were able to see how flooded the road had gotten when the lightning would strike. Thankfully the rain has slowed a bit & the water has gone down so I think we can turn off the news & go to bed.
