I was warned.

My friend Stephanie made a coffee filter wreath for Christmas.  It looked beautiful hanging over her fireplace.  I knew I had some hearts in the basement, so I roped my sisters into asked my sisters to make wreaths with me.  I took a look at the tutorial that Stephanie used and we were off!

Stephanie said that it would take time, lots of glue and lots and lots of coffee filters.  Not that I doubted her, but she wasn't kidding!  We even started with very small hearts.

Here are Emily & Audrey at the start...

and hours later.

(Don't mind our strange door decorations that have warped off our front door...we plan to get a new door this summer.  But as with everything else in our home, it is not 'standard size' and will not be fun to switch out.  I am excited that the heart almost covers the worst area.)

We are happy with how they turned out and had a lot of fun making them.  Of course we all burned our fingers...but we had great company while doing it!

I do have a few more hearts in the basement...anyone want one?

I knew there was a good reason I declined your offer! But I'm glad you had fun anyway bonding with your sisters!
