"Boo! Did I scare you?"

Dani watched Curious George's Boo Fest back in September.  Jumping out at me & shouting 'BOO!' still is happening daily! Above, she is doing her best 'Freeze Girl' impression in her Halloween costume.  She cracks herself up every time!

While others may not have small children jumping out at them from behind doors and from inside closets, I might startle you after over a year of blog silence.  Seriously...a year!  How did that happen!

I keep thinking that nothing is really new...but of course that isn't true.  While most days feel similar and some things have stayed the same - lots of things have changed.

Here are the three biggest ones...

the kids are HUGE!

Eddie is in Kindergarten and loves it.  He enjoys Legos, Superheroes and hardly sits still.

Dani is in Preschool and LOVES it.  She enjoys all crafts, singing and dancing.

Eleanor hangs out with me.  She loves Little Mermaid, has a crazy sense of humor and will be turning 3 next month.  (I can hardly wrap my brain around that last one.)

After that brief update, as much as I'd like to, I am not even going to pretend that I will be keeping this blog up on a regular basis.  Instead, if you have an interest in seeing what we are up to mixed in with my clients, I make a more regular appearance over at http://www.jenbrinkphotography.com/blog/

Have a Merry Christmas!!

1st day of school.

I had wondered if I would cry when I took him, but he was SO excited that it was contagious.  He is beyond excited to be in school!

18 months old.

or rather 19 months old.

(these were taken 8/24.  the day before she turned 19 months old...so I am totally calling them 18 month photos. :)  I tried pictures earlier in the month and they looked like this...
which really wasn't the look I was going for.)

back to the happy photos...

I can't believe that she is 19 months old!!

She is quite a character!  She is super fun and very happy, except when she can't keep up with her brother and sister.  Then she gets frustrated!  Being the smallest does not matter to her - she will tell you what she thinks!  (in her grunting, few words and pointing language.)  It has been amazing in the last months how she has left behind so many baby traits and is plowing into toddler-hood!

I took new photos of the other two as well...

when did they all get so BIG???

back to school

or rather...STARTING PRESCHOOL!

Mark starts on Monday and Eddie, he starts on the 4th.

Thursday night we went to meet his teacher, see his classroom and find his adorable locker.

He is SO excited.

He has already asked repeatedly how many more days until school starts.

Oh - and his teacher knows all about Autobots.  So, yeah.  He thinks she is the coolest.

(If you have any interest in our summer, I am going to back post a few things.  We had a wonderful summer.  All pictures have been taken off the camera & phones.  I am actually caught up...until I take another picture. ;)

wonder driver

look who the rain brought!

We've had a bit of rain lately.  The kids were super excited when Grandma came in from outside and told them that she had something to show them...

picking blueberries.

We always plan to go more than once a year...but it doesn't happen.
Glad we were able to make one trek into the blueberry fields!

We always joke that we should weigh the kids before we go and after, then pay the difference.

I don't remember how many pounds we picked, but we ate a bunch, froze a bunch and the kids helped Grandma make a pie!
